Visiting Our Office
When arriving at the Oregon Clinic, please inform our receptionist before being seated. Please supply information, if requested, in a complete and accurate manner.

Occasionally, patients arriving after you may be called into the examining room ahead of you, while you are still waiting. These are patients whom the nurse or laboratory technician are working with under the guidance of our physicians. These services do not interfere with the regular office schedule.

Office Hours and Appointments
Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The office is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Patients are seen by appointment only. Please call, preferably between 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., in order to schedule appointments. To schedule an appointment, call (419) 691-8132.

If you have an emergency after hours and need to contact a doctor, call the office phone number (691-8132), and an Academy of Medicine operator will assist you.

Tips For Contacting Us
Have a paper and pencil ready when you call. Prepare questions you wish to ask, along with a list of all medications you are taking at home, and your local pharmacy telephone number.

Express your major concerns about any condition or symptom you are experiencing. This will help our staff to understand how seriously you view a situation and to offer the proper assistance.

Emergency calls will be handled immediately.

Voice Mail messages are checked regularly and will be returned as soon as possible. Please remember to leave your name, reason for call and phone number.

There is a voice mail refill line for medication refills. Please leave your name, prescription name and pharmacy name and telephone number. Any refills called before 3:00 p.m. will be called to your pharmacy by 6:00 p.m.; calls received after 3:00 p.m. will be called in the next business day.
